Non-toxic mold treatment and non-toxic mold prevention, MoldGuard ^TM can protect structures and the inhabitants from the devastating effects
of mold and can be applied during and after construction to help prevent mold, mildew or other fungi from forming. It can be sprayed on inner
walls and cavities as well as on concrete and block walls, and anywhere moisture might be in danger of forming due to humidity, condensation or other water sources. On tests performed by Atoka Inc to ASTM D 3273 MoldGuard ^TM received test ratings of 10 on all tests performed. A rating
of 10 indicates 0 mold growth and is the best possible score. Mold Guard ^TM is also environmentally friendly and safe to use near people and pets.

Mold and mildew inside of buildings not only poses a major health risk
but can cause irreparable damage to the structures themselves. While
it is a growing concern in the public consciousness, it is also an incredibly difficult problem to address. So much so that many insurance companies are actually eliminating mold and mildew coverage from their policies rather than risk the economic effects of honoring such claims.

The MoldGuard ^TM difference is threefold. First, many mold remediation contractors use a toxic biocide to kill mold that can in itself be dangerous for the applicator and the occupants.

Second, after using a biocide to kill mold, they often then give the exposed areas a coating of anti-fungal paint
in an attempt to prevent the return of mold. MoldGard ^TM accomplishes both tasks by providing a seal over the material sprayed to protect it from future re-growth.

Finally, MoldGuard ^TM also renders the mold and mildew residue environmentally harmless for handling and disposal. This greatly reduces handling and disposal procedures and costs. (Check with local standards for compliance).  This product can be used as a spray or mist. Its unique air penetration qualities allow the contractor to reach areas that may otherwise have to be torn down and removed. Because this product renders mold environmentally safe, removal in hard-to-get areas may not be required, although the contractor should always check and comply with local authorities and standards

MoldGard ^TM was originally developed as a non-toxic additive treatment for ponds, streams and waterfalls, as well as a spray treatment for moss or other forms of fungi. When added to a pond or stream, the algae die within two days without harm to fish, animal or plant life. Similarly, when sprayed on moss the moss dies within two days. Fungal control tends to coat the sides of the pond or the surface of the roof and thereby provides a longer-lasting protection against the return of algae, moss or fungi.
